The Postern Gate, York Jd Wetherspoon.

We had our breakfast and some beers at night while we were next to Travelodge. The food was great and not too expensive. Great night with beautiful atmosphere as it was student night. We will soon be back to visit once all Xmas Shopping Madness has passed, York will be unhappy at this time of the year only too many visitors, sadly a victim of his own success.

Good mood, good prices and good service! The beer is really cheap, unlike all the other pubs we've done before. Also a cool atmosphere. I'll be back.

Can't beat ustherspoons for money. this has a beautiful outside seat area next to the river that added to the event. from the app and the service was ordered as expected.

The food was excellent, ordinary fast service. Good selection of real Ales. Good view from the garden by the river.

Visited here quite a few times on a recent break in the area. Never had bad service. Staff always friendly and quick to clean tables/ remove glasses etc. Sometimes a little wait for drinks but staff were obviously working hard and better service than most places whilst it was extra busy during the heatwave. Good gluten free options available and easy to order on the app.
