Dickey's Barbecue Pit - York

Last Friday night I ordered several items for takeout. Upon arriving at the restaurant 30 minutes later for pickup the woman at the counter told me half of the items I had ordered were out of stock. So instead of calling me upon receiving my order to tell me they couldn't fulfill it they just waited until I arrived to pick it up.I asked for a refund and was told I would have to call the next day to speak to a manager, which I did. He told me he couldn't find the order slip from my order (I gave him my order number) and that he would have to talk to the owner to get me my refund. A week later, nothing.Terrible customer service and no action from management. No refund after over a week. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AND GO ELSEWHERE FOR BBQ.

Horrible customer service came in to pick up an order for a customer, and the person at the front has awful customer service waited in the store for 15 minutes so that he could tell me they were out of the item the customer requested and asked How long for the order? His response was I could only do one thing at a time “I need to help the customers in line”, mind you; I was there before any of the customers. I won't be visiting this restaurant, thanks to that horrible service. It was the short white man that worked in front. I've been here before, and the other workers are great, but this guy is just giving the restraint a bad name

I've tried several times to order from here. It never works out because they're always out of something or they closed early for some reason. When I finally was able to order delivery from them, the meats were completely dried out. I will not order from this place again.

So I bought a Groupon that said 10 for 20 and stil basically paid 20 for the meal so they get over on you and you’re paying 2x don’t use Groupon I spoke to the owner he needless to say ignorant and couldn’t understand what I was saying he said basically just to get customers in and thinking you’re getting a deal and it’s not however I’m gonna use it out camphill where it’s done correctly

This place was horrible, will not recommend to anyone and will never go back. We order pulled pork plate with fries and a brisket sandwich. The pork was undercooked and cold. Had to force myself to eat a few bites to not waste the complete $26 we spent. The fries were undercooked and had a nasty seasoning on them as well as they didn't have ketchup for them. The brisket was not brisket at all and was very dry and cold. The bread that came with the meal was so hard it could have broken a tooth and was utterly disgusting. The BBQ sauce was dry and cold. It was literally one of the worst experiences I've had, expected much more from a BBQ place and will make sure to choose and tell everyone to choose mission BBQ if they want good BBQ bc this place deserves negative stars.
