Arrived in York at the time when most places were closed for lunch and were still open for dinner. Was happy to find this place open and serve food....

Brilliant fish,chips and salad for $15. Great food fantastic service.

Best place to Dine in York. Myself and my wife have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here over the past 3 days. Lovely food and great hospitality. A restaurant with plenty of charm, it once served as a resting spot and still retains some of that old charm. It's an ideal place for alfresco dining, featuring a covered area for those rainy or hot days. Located next to the Avon River and surrounded by parkland, it boasts numerous wooden tables paired with rustic benches. The washrooms are conveniently located at the front. And the fish and chips? Absolutely excellent!
