The amount of soba in the set was surprisingly generous, not just a half serving. My friend's simmered pork had incredibly thick slices of meat, which was a pleasant surprise. The soba was cooked just the way I like it, firm and flavorful. And to top it off, the price was only 1,000 yen each, which was unbelievably cheap. It's no wonder that the tables around us were all full, and some customers were even seated in the tatami area. If this restaurant were closer to my home, I would definitely become a regular customer. If I find myself in the area again, I will definitely make a point to stop by this place!
I visited this restaurant after visiting the famous Tenmei Inari Shrine in Tsudoi no Goshuin. I had heard that their soba noodles were popular, so I wanted to try them, but they were sold out. I ended up ordering udon noodles instead, which had a nice chewy texture and were delicious. The katsu (breaded pork cutlet) was also juicy and tasty. If I have the chance to visit again, I would like to try the soba noodles next time.
The portion sizes were generous, yet cheap and delicious! We were able to eat comfortably in a tatami room. I would like to come back with my family again!
