I love this place. They are so friendly and their cheese and cold cuts are always fresh.

The Egyptian owners carry about 40 different kinds of fresh cheese in their deli case, so this is a heaven for cheese consumers. I only come for the molokhia (an Egyptian vegetable).

An unbelievable deli! The kind of old world place I remember growing up! The guy still offers you samples ! The breads are fresh yet crisp.the cheeses are awesome, and the prices are more reasonable than other bayonne italian delis

Albanese is one of the best delis I shopped at. Bread is fresh, cooked inside, and crispy on the outside. They have the best kinds of cheeses and meats. Everything is fresh and authentic. All the kinds of high quality pastas. Prices are reasonable. A family oriented place that provides great service. The owners are very nice people, The store is old fashion and takes me back in time. They cut and grate the cheese in front of you.

I was never able to visit during their hours, but I sent my cousin to pick up the best cheese for me and keep it until I arrived. The Egyptian and Greek cheeses are fantastic! I asked them to cut it very thin, which is quite a task, but they did it perfectly. The Roomy cheese they offer is phenomenal—it's Egyptian cheese similar to Parmesan! I had to pay my cousin for his efforts, but it was worth it. It was a cold winter, and the cheese arrived perfectly in Northern Virginia. On my next visit to Bayonne, I will make sure to go early and check out this wonderful business in person!
