Maisonetta - BRONX

I had a lovely experience at this restaurant, which is one of the few places that welcomes both vaccinated and unvaccinated patrons. The steak frites with peppercorn sauce was outstanding! I would give it five stars, but the piña colada could use some improvement; using real ingredients would really enhance it. Additionally, our waitress was a bit forgetful and mixed up our order. Despite these minor issues, it was a wonderfully enjoyable evening, and dining outside was a beautiful experience.

For my main courses, I had the wild king salmon fajitas served with flour tortillas and the churrasco with garlic mashed potatoes. Both dishes were flavorful and served in generous portions. The veggies in the fajitas were perfectly cooked – not overdone, which was a relief! The food was packed with amazing flavors and was far from bland or greasy. For drinks, I enjoyed several flavored margaritas during happy hour. My favorites were the tamarind, hibiscus, and passionfruit, listed in order of preference. At checkout, the server kindly treated us to a complimentary drink called the Mexican Mule. Typically, I’m not a fan of mezcal, but this cocktail was expertly blended and well-balanced. I truly hope to see it added to the menu soon!

This is a great hidden gem! The French-Mexican cuisine is outstanding—I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried so far. The salmon and shrimp tacos are fantastic, and the shrimp quesadilla is simply amazing.

I have ordered delivery from Maisonetta multiple times and it?s always delicious. Today I had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant. It?s an adorable place and the waitstaff is super kind and attentive. Our food was absolutely amazing, we had the steak and scallops and couldn?t believe how good they were. The drinks were also delicious and strong. 10/10 would go again and recommend to all my friends.

My family and I went there for Mother?s Day brunch and had the meal of a lifetime!! Stuffed!! The staff was extremely friendly and the food was da bomb!! South Bronx stand up!!
