Last Port Motel & Restaurant - Canso

As the last and only motel here I'm pretty happy. I've been here for over a month and had no problems at all. There is a nice fridge, microwave and a fireplace machine. The bathroom is a decent size and the shower had a good pressure. The beds were decent and the service was top notch. Yes I was in better motels, but that's not a bad place. It might be pretty bad if someone ever gets on Canso way, I would definitely recommend this motel.

Not my first stay here. The service is decent and they try to accept. I needed utensils, left a note and they were there the night. The bar fridge and coffee machine work. There is often no microwave in the rooms. The Wi-Fi is punctual, although it worked here for the second time. All rooms were clean. They're carpets. The beds are very strong. The seal on all toilets seems so old. A kind of gamble if your toilet will run all night or actually fill. Water pressure can disappear immediately. Close the bathtub when you show so keep water flush if the shower cuts out when you are full of soap.

If I could give zero stars, I would. She stayed here for work. There was no microwave in each of our rooms. The heat in my room wouldn't adapt. The wall outlets didn't work, so it's impossible to load my phone, that's my alarm clock. And around everything from the ceiling had a blood stain!!!. I was in many cheap motels, but that was the worst motel I've ever seen. I guess they can take the only place in the middle of nowhere with these standards.

The last port was a luminous fire that led me and my fellow travelers into a fun and affordable safe harbour. My father, brother and I had planned a visit to Guysborough County to get out of town. We booked two rooms in the Last Port and were given helpful instructions on how to get there through the easy-going but still busy staff. The last port served as a perfect base for our day trips and place to rest. The site was well maintained and had many interesting details that pulled us out of our room. The rooms were very clean, with many pillows and bed linen, and lots of attention to decoration and furniture choices that make us feel like captains on our own ship. During the night we were able to enjoy cold beers that we have stored in the mini-fridge, tickets are provided on the desk and use the Smart TV in our room to log into our favorite streaming sites. On August morning I was able to walk around and observe spots, chips, Cedar Waxwings and Hermit Thrushes in the immediate vicinity. We also enjoyed the restaurant A LOT and really enjoyed getting to know Tam and the band even more. The last port helped us to enjoy the environment as much as possible. This will certainly not be the last time we book a room there.

Should be the Last Resort Motel bad wifi TV was very snowy couldn't even watch it. Heater wasn't the greatest bed was hard as a rock would never stay here again. As far as the food in restaurant goes 4 out of 5 stars.
