The owner, with strong roots in Cape Breton, enthusiastically shared their love for the community and provided recommendations for local attractions. Following their suggestion, we visited the lighthouse before returning to enjoy our lunch: corn chowder and a Monte Cristo sandwich, both delicious. The carrot muffin topped with cream cheese was simply amazing. We give this restaurant two thumbs up and five stars!
I really enjoyed my carrot cupcake with cream cheese icing and gourmet hot chocolate! I will definitely be returning next time for the Chickenburger at noon and waffles. Thank you.
The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with historical and interesting decor. It is fun to choose from the delicious bakery items and meals to enjoy inside, on the small deck (when the weather allows), or take them to the beach for a special picnic.
Small café with good pastries. Sit and relax. Some small crafts available, but beautiful hands spun wool in multicolored, made by Sarah Nettleton, a local Shepherdess. A must buy!.
This little out of the way spot I discovered only through a local maritime taste of nova scotia book . Once renovations are complete this coffee shop should be a go-to place.
