On several occasions, I had to wait for my order to be taken, which was disappointing. However, there is one tattooed server who stands out for being attentive and friendly. The female staff are generally more responsive. When it comes to waiting times after placing an order, you can expect to wait anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes. On one occasion, after tipping, I noticed an extra $3 charge on my credit card. I called to address this, but I never received a refund for the additional tip. On a positive note, the restroom is clean.
I visited this restaurant last autumn while on a work trip to Sacramento. The soups were quite intriguing. I personally think they could have benefited from some chili paste and lemon to enhance the flavors. Additionally, I would have appreciated more drink options, as the tea was a bit too sweet for my taste.
"Alright! We arrived at 2:00 PM on a Sunday, and it was still fairly busy. We tried the spicy beef bowl, and I highly recommend mixing all the sauces together!"
The widows are tinted so it always looks dark from the outside like it's closed, but inside it bright and inviting, and the temperature is just right. Everything was good. I never want squid or octopus because I hate the texture but I tried my partner's fried calamari appetizer and the texture was perfect! (and it was seasoned well. We split the vegetarian with several extras and some meat on the side. It was rather good and So filling. Next time I think I'll get the seafood one with the crab and shrimp in the shell :
I absolutely love this place—it’s one of my favorite hotpot restaurants! I always order the spicy beef, and it’s incredibly delicious! You can customize the spiciness for any dish, choosing from options like none, mild, medium, spicy, and flaming hot. However, be aware that the spiciness here is serious; it’s based on Asian levels, not American ones (after all, it is an Asian restaurant). So when they say "spicy," they really mean it, and when it’s "flaming hot," it’s like "oh my god, I need a glass of milk right now!" I enjoy spicy food, but even I find their spicy level quite intense. A friend of mine tried the flaming hot option, and it was a bit too much for me (but to be fair, he can handle it because he’s a bit of a spice fanatic, haha). Also, don’t miss out on their sweet black tea that comes with lunch—it’s really tasty, as is their black milk tea. Overall, I highly recommend this place!
