The Groundswell - D'ESCOUSSE

We stayed at the Groundswell hotel and ate in the pub during the evening. We chose to sit on the patio, which is nice, as the hotel is located close to the water. Choice if food is good (while the chef changed a few days before we came), good choice of beer and wine, Gluten free options if this is necessary for you.

An English style free-house pub is a great place for a tasty bite and some good beer and other libations. Regular local talent on hand most weekend days. They also have a frequent flyer program your 10th meal free.

I have been here several times and I absolutely love it. The food is wonderful. Happy it isn't your normal chicken finger and fries place. So much to choose from that I haven't had the same thing twice. The staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. On busy nights be prepared to wait for your food..... However it's so worth the wait. Love the tap beer! And the fact that you can get a sampler of 4 different beer that are on tap makes me soooo happy! I highly recommend stopping by grabbing a bite and having a drink!

Looks like a bar/restaurant that has great music according to the posters on the wall. We stopped in for lunch so if was a quiet lunch spot! Delicious food: Fisherman's Wharf (I think) was basically a seafood shepherd's pie with a great salad. Several special dishes not on the menu. Mix of seafood, veggie, non gluten, and meat on the menu.

We just stopped in for coffee and something light. Loved the atmosphere and the menu fairly creative and reasonably priced. Hope they make it!
