After a long day in the park we needed a restaurant that had enough variety to satisfy our team. That's it. They had everything from burgers and salads to pasta and tacos. Starts with Calamari and homemade meatballs for Appy. I would recommend both. The chicken parmesan is HUGE to share enough for 2-3 persons. The crab cakes were delicious. Not clumpy, but not full of filler. Came with one side of Risotto and brussel sprouts. The Greek Chicken Wrap hit the spot! It is not on the menu as a wrap, just a salad, but I asked our server and she had no problems making the kitchen one! Also a few drinks... The bartender has a generous spout! All in all. Good service, nice atmosphere, delicious food. Would recommend!
Was fast sitting, by very friendly hostess. Wait staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Started with a Tequila sunrise Margarita and a local beer Allagash White, reminded me of Blue Moon. For appetizers we had Fried Brussel Sprouts fried crispy and dipped with hot honey, fresh lime juice and Cotija cheese. Was a great starter, enough for two people. The main course was Luna Burger. I did it with a chicken breast. It was roasted with half moon mozzarella, provolone and tomatoes and one side of Basilikum Pesto. I got it with the bungalow. Wife has a cranberry almond chick salad sandwich. Consists of drawn chicken breast mixed with mayonnaise dijon mustard roasted almonds and dried cranberries with provolone cheese, salad and tomatoes on roasted sourdough bread. Both meals were separated with the choice of pommes or chips and pommespeer. Both meals were very tasteful and large portions. The fires came hot and fresh. Very recommended to eat here.
We liked it! Both of our meals, where very good, but above all the Calamari had paprika with the same coating and fit perfectly with the Calamari. The Marinara was fine, but the Honey Sriracha Dip was delicious from the charts.
The food here, in one word: delicious! Our table ordered chicken parm, chicken marsala and lasagna. We loved everything! The pasta in the lasagna and chicken parm is homemade (and you can say it) what you don't see very often. The sauce in the lasagna and the chicken parm was perfection. The chicken was delicious, baked beautiful and generously dressed in sauce and cheese. The chicken marsala was also great, served with potatoes and asparagus. The portions were generous and we were all with full stomach. We definitely come back!
My only disappointment was not knowing this restaurant earlier during our trip in Hershey, PA. The Chocolate Avenue Grill features great outdoor seating. The waiter was attentive and responsive towards our party's food allergies. Their food was fresh and tasted great! I enjoyed the blue apple grilled chicken wrap that had fresh apples, gorgonzola cheese and cranberries. An additional plus is that the chicken was grilled to perfection. Often other restaurants overlook the quality of their chicken- at times, even undercooked the chicken in efforts to be quick. Being quick and efficient with food is difficult to achieve. Yet, I believe that The Chocolate Avenue Grill reaches that standard. With a party of four- and buying sandwiches, side salads and spinach spanakopita- our total reached approximately 65 dollars. Overall, I highly recommend this location and we will keep this restaurant in mind the next time we're in the Hershey, PA area.
