First, when we went to about 4 tables, dirty dishes had on them. Secondly, we had to wait for 15 minutes until someone comes to us and gets our order. when our coffee order was taken, I asked for a long macchiato the girl had no idea what it was so I got a long black we had a little crippled milk (my recommendation would be if they had an Italian inspired caffe at least know diffetent types of coffee combinations) in the meantime we had been sitting for about 40mins and the tables in which we were still dirty. Service was very slow, but friendly and apologetic. had the pappardelle with gamberi that was delicious but completely disappointed they only give them 2 prawns for $31.50! the staff is good that they apologize for it and add a few smaller cooked garnels.

What a sound! we were looking for a morning coffee and believed in this place when a “favourite” nearby caffe was full and we ended the winners. the coffee was very good and the personal attentive, without being overlaid. but the best was when we eat in this night. my wife said her lamb jewelry were delicious and the accompanying vegetables were perfect for the court. my penne was the best I had for a long time. the balance of ham, sausage and tomato sauce was excellent with just the right balance of chili and perfectly boiled pasta. Good food, not too bad price. some of the specials that we had to ask for explanation thought it would have been better if the waitress came to explain them to us, good upsell opportunities that were missed, but waitress was knowing about eating. but all in all beautiful lunch, the Italian chocolate torte for dessert was amazing. $45 per person for a nice lunch, dessert, coffee and softdrink not bad either

Every time we come to Hobart, this is the place we like to visit. Family run restaurant, nice food, friendly service, reasonable price... what else do u want when u re travelling? Only one thing wrong they don't open on Tuesday ....
