After spending a night at the MACq 01 Hotel, my wife and I decided to try something different for breakfast. We took a leisurely stroll around the Hobart waterfront and stumbled upon the Zero Davey Cafe, located just 200m from our hotel. The cafe had a quirky ambiance and seemed to cater to both diners and the work-to-go crowd. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed a satisfying breakfast of two French omelets and coffee at a reasonable price. We would definitely recommend this spot for a delicious breakfast.
The restaurant is very clean and conveniently located near everything. It is a bit close to traffic, but the staff is helpful. Our room on the second floor was spacious and had a great view overlooking the river.
We were at the Hobart Information Centre and Zero Davey was recommended as a nearby café that had a reputation for good breakfast. It was not disappointing, I enjoyed my French omelet and my wife her natural muesli and accompanying coffee. Friendly service, the premises... clean and hygienic.
Lovely food, great coffee and so handy under apartments we were staying, opened early enough before our tours
