Terrible customer service. The worst thing I've experienced for years. I ordered a Borscht soup for the exit over the weekend and near the bottom of the bowl was this soggy white material (tape? written with the Chinese words Cow Water about it. Disgusting, I called her to tell them, and the guy who apologised quickly said he knows and understands (not the first time that this happened?, and said he would give me credit for a court if I were in the next time. You wouldn't honor it tonight if we were there to pick up our order. The owner/manager was even angry and mockingly said, Please, please contact us to public health. He didn't even offer us a refund on the contaminated soup until I passed. I will never go back and recommend this restaurant to everyone.
I cane to this restaurant since I live around the area but they treated family was an outcast the 2-3 times that I ate here with my family. I’ll spare you the details but the food was small portions, they yell at you in Chinese...if you don’t understand them and they even tried to charge me extra for every little thing. I’m a pretty understanding guy and sometimes people have bad days which I get but if this happens 3 times then it’s quite ridiculous. There are much better restaurants in the area like silver tower and a lot of options on Alexandra Road that is recommend visiting instead of eating at this restaurant.
We find that Copa's prices are modest and their menu has a varied selection of items. It is also convenient when we have a medical appointment with our family doctor located in the Oval and especially when there is a need to purchase groceries at...T&T which is also located in the Ora complex as Copa. Our only complaint is that the underground parking available for Copa requires that one navigate a flight of stairs.
Copa cafe in business in Vancouver since about 2006, and still is the best authentic Hong Kong style cafe outside H.K., for their menu and quality, they have three location in midland, due to the fire in Cambie location still... closed, now only Richmond and Coquitlam, meeting mom in the OVAL to order in the last minutes, we end up in the Copa cafe for dinner, decor very modern, clean environment
