Shanghai Express - Lynchburg

The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! They even have a photo album showcasing their dishes, which allows customers to see what the meals look like before ordering—what a fantastic idea! My food arrived in just 5 minutes, piping hot and fresh! The prices are very reasonable, and I will definitely be returning! I ordered the orange bun with roasted rice, and it was great!

Like many others, I believe that the staff truly makes the restaurant enjoyable. James is always friendly and genuinely happy to see us, and he provides excellent recommendations for my family and me. We particularly love the egg-drop soup, egg rolls, pineapple fried rice, and rice noodles. The food is served quickly, and they even have a drive-thru. Additionally, they offer bubble tea and shakes.

In my opinion, this is the best almost-authentic Chinese food in the city. The food is consistently fresh and served hot. I would appreciate having more sweet and sour sauce, though I remember that years ago, when they first opened, they used to include pineapple in the sauce. I wish they would bring that back! The prices are very reasonable for the quality of service provided.

Seriously my favorite Chinese food. for years. the sesame chicken is the best. her chicken is crispy with the teig, and still tasteful when put on the sauce. the wadew boaboa is also very tasty. I would be devastating if this place would ever be closed.

I've been eating here weekly for the past twenty five years or more. It's dependably good nd the owner and her staff always have a smile on their face and greet you by name. They even know my car and are already working on one of my favorites, wonton soup, when I walk in the door. Plain, simple, good Chinese food. And reasonably priced. Try it....
