Culver's - Madison

Today's flavor of the day is caramel pecan. I was really looking forward to enjoying the delicious vanilla custard with ribbons of rich caramel and whole pecans, just like the poster suggested. Unfortunately, what I received was a mixture of ground-up pecans and caramel blended into the custard, which was quite disappointing. When I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty, she informed me that this is how they are instructed to prepare the flavor of the day, even though I've had the same flavor at other Culver's locations where they used whole pecans, just as the poster shows. I've visited this location several times, and there have always been issues. There were instances when I arrived well before closing time, only to find the restaurant closed, but I refrained from leaving a negative review. This time, however, was the last straw. I’m sorry, but Culver's really needs to get this location back on track!

If you order more than two items or even change a side, it seems to confuse the staff in the back, resulting in missing items every single time I use the drive-thru. There might be a reading comprehension issue or something else going on, because by the time they bring out the rest of my order, the food is cold and the ice cream has melted. Management really needs to address this problem; it’s been happening for a while now, and I can't be the only one experiencing it.

I ordered a double butter burger with tomato and pickles. I was pleased to finally receive a tomato that truly deserved the name, along with two flavorful and generously-sized pickles. The burgers were delicious, but unfortunately, the Gluten Free bun fell apart completely after just a few bites, which created quite a mess. As a result, I had to eat in my car in the parking lot instead of being able to continue my journey. You were so close to perfection! Please consider finding a new supplier for your buns!

The beauty of Culver's is that they have mastered the fast food burger. The Double Deluxe is the best burger for its price point. $6 and you get FRESH beef smashed on the griddle, cheese melting into the patties, lettuce, tomato, red onion, a nice spread of mayo on bottom, and a nice spread of butter on top. One thing Culver's understands is that you don't need to put ketchup on a burger if your burger is good. Ketchup drowns a lackluster burger in unnecessary sweetness to disguise its poor flavor. Culver's doesn't need to masquerade because their burgers are already perfect. The buns compliment the package deal so well. Not 100% sure what kind of buns they are, but I believe it's a potato bun. I have eaten many burgers in my day. I've tried burgers at some of the top burger joints in this city. They're all good. Some of them are even tastier than the Double Deluxe! No one can top the flavor, the size, and the price of the Double Deluxe. What amazes me most about the Double Deluxe is it looks better in person than in marketing photos. What other chain can say that? Forget about the Big Mac. Forget about the Whopper. The Double Deluxe is your best burger friend. The cheese curds are good while they're hot, but admittedly disappointing once they cool off a bit. The crinkle cut fries are fantastic, though. Crunchy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Get some cheese sauce for the best fry dipping experience! The assortment of malts is quite nice too. I've yet to try anything I don't like! Do yourself a favor order a Double Deluxe. Pair it with whatever sides and drinks you want. Enjoy burger paradise.

In as much as we enjoyed our Culver's food. The Culver's at 2102 W Beltline Hwy, Madison, WI will always be the most memorable Culver's we have ever visited. The amount, design, and care give to all the annual flowers planted around the building and outdoor patio was......absolutely........Phenomenally BEAUTIMOUS!! We own a wholesale greenhouse, supplying very highly visible annual installations, and can appreciate the attention to detail that has been by this Culver's. Truly a experience we will never forget. Thank You for the unselfish gift of brightening others day.
