Beef Tataki chestnut/mushroom dumplings for entrees tasty as! Then beautiful Fish Laksa x3 and 1 Pork Belly. In both the flavours were amazing. My pork belly was Asian style with a gorgeous sweet sticky soya sauce to die for. No room for desserts. With only around 18 20 diners we got very good service but with so few people the atmosphere was lessened. On food service thoroughly recommend!
Decent food, but rather disorganised service, maybe short-staffed? Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
Absolutely fantastic food. An array of beautiful flavours. Wait staff were wonderful. Get there if you can! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Tasting Plate
We went there for dessert and were pleasantly surprised with what we found. The creme Brule was served in a flatter plate resulting in more of that delicious Crack on top. The banana split looked Devine. The rhubarb was surprisingly tough, sadly, as if it had been cooked a little more it would have been a wonderful balance for the rich chocolate molten lava cake dessert. The waitress was very accommodating with this error. The log fire was a very pleasant addition on our cold winter night. Not too noisy too, which was nice. Great spot on the Mapua Wharf. Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp up to the restaurant provides wheelchair access.
