Smith & Deli - Melbourne

I'm not vegan, but the sandwiches here just keep me coming back for more. I never knew plants could taste so good. Now I understand what all the hype is about. And the cakes are pretty great too!

What an amazing place, vegan heaven! The apple pie was heavenly. 10 out of 10. The place for all things vegan, service was impeccable. Friendliest staff ever. Loved the chessies. Well worth the visit.

I visited Melbourne for the long weekend and my first stop was Smith

Sandwiches are the staple of the Australian school lunch (although these days some kids bring sushi and dips etc.) but I do love a good 'sanger'. These were superb. My girlfriend has been raving about them for ages and now I can see why. It's all vegan but you would never guess it. The deserts included cookies and puddings and cheesecakes. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. They prepare food quickly. Staff are fabulous. A must try for those who like something off the beaten track.Will return.

Awesome spot for takeaway-well worth the effort of seeking this place out-it's only takeaway though..hard to believe that EVERYTHING is vegan!!! Cauliflower and Broccoli creamy was unreal.. big queue's is an accurate representation of the super food coming out of this place.
