Jackson's Hole & Grill - Nelson

During our time in Nelson, we dined at the restaurant twice. On our first night, we enjoyed salmon burgers, and on our second visit, we tried the steak and salmon dishes. The restaurant had a great variety of local wine and beer options. I also tried the local craft gin, which had a delicious ginger flavor. The food was served promptly, and the service was exceptionally friendly.

The place wasn’t very busy. We ordered Calamari, I had fish and Chips, my wife beef dip. We waited a very long time. The Calimari came and it was excellent. After another 1/2 hour the food finally came. My single piece of fish appeared overdone on turning it over I found the chef had turned the horribly overdone bits to the bottom. So cooked it was difficult to cut with a knife. The few fries on the plate were excellent. I made my concerns known when they asked and my wife indicated her food was good…until we got home and she became quite ill. I have to say the server was excellent and should be commended. The Chef is a hazard to human health.

Good spot for dinner in Nelson. We came here after a long day and had a nice meal. Service was very friendly and attentive, food was good wholesome pub orientated food. The burgers are good and the helpings were generous. Would come again

Out of all the places we have been for food and drinks it has amazing service great food and the number 1 Caesars and drinks that we have been too definitely a must to go to it has became our go to when in nelson :

I made a reservation last minute and what a treat! Awesome service from the monent we walked in! Best ribs ive ever had, we were taking tastes of each others meals as it was DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend!
