Before the Wisconsin vs. Rutgers game, we stopped at this restaurant. The drinks were strong, the atmosphere was friendly, and I highly recommend it. It is conveniently located near the stadium and you can easily get there for about $9.
I was shocked by the sheer ignorance of the manager/doorman at this restaurant. I presented my valid Puerto Rico driver's license, which he glanced at and then informed me that I needed a license from the United States or a passport to enter. I then showed him a photo of my valid New Jersey driver's license with my veteran stamp, only to be told that I needed to physically hand over my NJ license. Puerto Rico has been a part of the United States since 1917, and I served in the US army, so it was incredibly discriminatory to be treated this way. I shouldn't need anything more than my Puerto Rico license to enter a place in the United States. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. P.S. I am 39 years old.
Just went bar hopping over new brunswick and this is by far the best college bar now in the rutgers new brunswick area they have the best drinks specialties the music was on the point and simply had fantastic time over all made our night did not have to wait for lines that a block long compared to the other popular spots I was really like the atalyzer machines
Show this place some love! Strong drinks, and they got darts. They have darts! Literally nowhere has anything to do other than watch sports and dance (though you can do both here)!
