This place is a hidden gem in Norfolk. My family and I went on a Sunday night and were immediately seated. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The waitress helped me pronounce all the names of the foods properly, showed me how to eat with Fufu, and was just a joy to work with. We tried palm wine and sobolo for the first time, too. The food is amazing. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and was delicious. The chef even came out to make sure everyone was happy and enjoying their dinner. 10/10 I cannot wait to go back.
I came here around 6pm on a Saturday and they were out of a lot of food options. I ordered samosa and it came out burnt. Not worth the price at all.
Oh my goodness, this food is superb. Delicious and devine. I purchase just about everything to sample and it was fantastic. The service was awesome. I had take out this time, but next time i will eat in.
The service here was insanely awful. First, they took forever to serve us. Secondly, they gave us water and soda with NO ICE. Lastly, they did not explain how to properly eat the food and gave us PLASTIC utensils. This was a very hostile environment. They completely ruined the experience as it was our first time trying Ghanaian food. Go to a different location to get an authentic taste/experience as these people are NOT welcoming to their guest.
