One of the best burritos I've had in quite a while. The carne asada was both flavorful and tender, and the red and green salsas were a delightful addition. Food rating: 5/5.
The tacos were definitely on the expensive side—three for about $15, which feels a bit steep—but they were tasty. The staff was also very attentive. The chicken had a great flavor, and the shrimp was really delicious as well. However, the ceviche could have used a bit more lime.
What a charming little spot! I absolutely loved the menu. Since it was a warm day, we decided to try the shrimp ceviche, and it was fantastic! It was my first time having saltines with ceviche, and the combination was surprisingly unique. I had heard about it before but had never experienced it myself, so that was a nice treat. I found the ceviche to be very well-balanced, which can be challenging to achieve with all the citrus used. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes in the future!
It's a shame that in such a trendy spot in Phoenix that there is no good Mexican food representation. Provecho is ok. I think Chelo, Centrico, and definitely Taco Boys are all better options within a mile of Provecho. Ghost donkey down the street has better ceviche (but no tacos . And the taco truck at cobra is probably better too. There is also a filibertos on central which honestly is also probably yummier. If you're at Churchill drinking, I'd go for a burger at stoop kid or a pizza from freak bros. Phoenix just has way too much great Mexican food to take Provecho that seriously. Oh the food? I had carne asada tacos, chips, guac, and churros. The churros were pretty yummy :
