Great meal but overpriced, tables too close, no intimacy. Vegetarian options: Great options big be prepared to pay..
There is not a single thing I don’t love about communal. My husband and I have had this as our anniversary spot for years now and it’s never anything less than spectacular. We love the vibe and the service is always first class. The food is on a whole other level. We love the rotating seasonal menu that brings a freshness and quality to the food that you just don’t get at a big chain restaurant. We have loved every single thing we’ve tried there and that helps us feel more confident in trying new dishes even when it’s something we’ve never had before. Our personal favorites have been the maple crème brûlée and the grilled peaches with balsamic reduction and whipped mascarpone. At our most recent visit we decided to try out their brunch menu and we are so glad we did. The banana bread starter was heavenly and the croissandwich was downright sinful. The portions are extremely generous and we love that it’s perfectly set up to enjoy and experience the dishes together. Kid-friendliness: We brought our 3 year old and 3 month old to brunch and they were very accommodating. Our three year old loved the brunch selections just as much as we did.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had! Provo, you’ve outdone yourself! Chad recommended the house-made ginger ale and it didn’t disappoint. I might have called it a ginger limeade, but it was great. Don’t sleep on the bread service because these rolls were delicious. We started off with the charcuterie board and the watermelon salad. I’m not normally a big fan of paté, but this one was delicious. Loved the jam too. The watermelon salad with feta, pistachios and sliced jalapeños was out of this world good. Get the grilled hangar steak. I’m usually a steak snob, but this one was tender on the inside and flavorful and with a great crust on the outside. We paired the steak with the roasted corn and the funeral potato rosti and everything was so excellent. Save room for the almond cake with coconut gelato. Thanks for making our anniversary so special. We’ll be back! Parking: Not much parking behind the restaurant or on the street, but we parked for dinner at the Wells Fargo bank building across the street to the south.
Everything was very tasty and lovingly prepared. I really enjoyed the tea
