The best bbq in San Diego for sure! We always make the stop here when we come to San Diego!

Our group decided we would go to Phil's BBQ after visiting Kobey's swapmeet as it is very close and everybody loves the place. We arrived on a Saturday around 12:30pm and there were only 1-2 guests/groups ahead of us. One of their crew members asked us how many is in our party. We advised that we are 8 in the group and he quickly shared that there is a table/booth available. We didn't have to go in line to place our order, instead he took them while we were at our table. He was consistently checking in to see if we have any other needs. Like he can read out minds when we will need items and he will just be there at the right time. We enjoyed the great food (babyback ribs are always great) and time with friends. Thanks to Javier, we had a great time!

Very recommended! Meat is delicious, attentive staff, acceptable price and large part. They also offer a wide selection of beers that are produced locally! The restaurant has a happy hour with attractive offers!
