Sonic Drive-in - San Benito

I had a terrible experience with the chili dogs at this restaurant. The chili looked dry and unappetizing. It was our first time trying Sonic and it will definitely be our last. I prefer the chili dogs from the street vendors instead. Even though I was hungry, I was glad I only ordered a hot dog. My wife had a Combo 6 with onion rings, but the food tasted like old carnival food. I will never eat here again.

I ordered online and the food was ready within minutes of my arrival. The server, Marc, was polite. I took the food home and it was still warm and tasted amazing. I forgot to take photos before I devoured everything.

On December 29, 2021 at 10AM, the restaurant was closed because the key holder did not show up. I hope that someone was held accountable for this. The food was great, but it was a disappointing start for a newly opened business.

Unsanitary. They talk about the costumers after they leave, if that costumer complained. They'll make you wait until they have at least two orders up ready to go, even though the first order is out. They never use the kitchen hand sink to wash their hands. Unorganized.

The customer service was amazing, the food was fresh and great tasting. Their service was fast, efficient and correct. The mozzarella sticks are a personal favorite of mine as they have a high quality taste, unlike it’s counter part STARZ which taste like school food, gross.
