During my first visit, the experience was not great as there were no dessert options available and the wings were served cold. Despite this, I decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, the nachos I ordered were terrible. The cheese was dry and seemed reheated, and only a few olives were provided, making the dish quite disappointing. Overall, the experience was unpleasant and I left feeling dissatisfied.
For a bite to eat and a pint to drink on the other day at Squires. They had good service, food and cleanliness! Location is located near the city, so it is a great place to visit when you are nearby! Be sure to take care of what the new management will bring to the table!
My husband and I celebrated his 70th birthday in a more impromptu manner than planned. I had originally intended to take him somewhere else, but that day there was a power outage that affected much of Vernon. Everything was closed, but luckily the pub was still open. The waitress informed us that they could serve drinks, as well as hamburgers and quesadillas. Instead of returning home and risking spoilage of our fridge contents due to a potential long power outage, we decided to stay. We ended up enjoying some wine and surprisingly delicious quesadillas served by Emily, our very friendly and personable waitress. It seemed like Emily was new to the job, but she handled everything wonderfully under the circumstances, a true asset to the restaurant.
Previously, to go there for years, and quit for falling service. Large cold design and an ingenious food delivered within 15 minutes. Thank you for the great time.
Service was slow, unattentive and overall not good. Didn't get any napkins with the meal. Ordered two chicken quesadilla meals... and they used Turkey! And it was quite obvious. Used to really enjoy coming here as it was a great place to eat and good...servers. Doubt I will be back anytime soon.
